Carly Uttridge- Therapeutic Practitioner | Founder of The Wonder Within Programme
Carly is a Therapeutic Practitioner with experience across hospitals, education, safeguarding and family support. She also founded and led a forest school and outdoor alternative provision, creating nurturing spaces where children could learn, express themselves and reconnect through safety, play and connection.
Her work is trauma-informed, relational and neuro-affirming, with a focus on helping young people feel safe, understood and able to reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them.
Carly has a particular interest in supporting teenagers experiencing anxiety, PTSD responses, emotional overwhelm, masking, school-related distress, self-harm, identity and belonging difficulties, attachment-related needs and challenges linked to family dynamics, or care experiences.
Trained in psychopathology, BWRT, NLP, Hospital Play specialism, and a range of other holistic modalities, Carly thoughtfully weaves therapeutic, creative and nervous-system-aware approaches into her work with young people, families and schools. Carly enjoys studying new areas of interest and is currently embarking on her DDP journey.
Carly is passionate about child advocacy and helping schools look beyond behaviour to understand what a young person may be communicating through their attendance, emotional wellbeing, presentation or engagement. Her work is guided by kindness, connection and inclusion.
Carly believes that lasting change happens when young people feel safe enough to be seen, heard and understood. Her approach is guided by kindness, connection and inclusion, supporting schools, families and young people to move forward with greater self compassion, clarity and confidence.
